When High School senior year was over and summer on the way I found inspiration to sit down and simply write, as a fan of Cassandra Clare and Harry Potter, the fantastical world of fairies, magic, mayhem and mystery enriched my imagination. But having a health journey can be a troublesome obstacle. Finishing my manuscript that summer would have been my author journey’s beginning, but it was simply the Prelude. Three surgeries, a car, some writing experience, and 20+ years later and I am able to fully commit to my writing.
